Monday March 19, 2018: Overnight Flight from USA. Group air will depart from Chicago. If you are not on group air, plan on meeting us at the Edinburgh Airport.
Tuesday March 20, 2018: Arrive at Edinburgh airport from Amsterdam at 10:15 am; meet Prime Tour rep & Blue Badge Guide. Depart for our panoramic tour of New Town and Old Town Edinburgh. Lunch on your own at the Ocean Terminal Mall followed by tour of Her Majesty’s Royal Yacht Britannia, is the former royal yacht of the British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, in service from 1954 until 1997. After our touring we will check into our hotel for 2 nights, The Ibis South Bridge Street, just off The Royal Mile. Wednesday March 21, 2018: Full Scottish Breakfast at our hotel. Walking tour of Old Town Edinburgh concluding with admission to Edinburgh Castle- explore the many attractions inside the castle such as the Great Room, St. Margaret’s Chapel and the Crown Jewels of Scotland. Lunch is on your own and the afternoon is yours to explore the many sites of Edinburgh. Evening dinner on your own and enjoy Highland Reign gig at Whistlebinkies. (If no gig on Tuesday).
Thursday March 22, 2018: Full Scottish Breakfast at our hotel. Checkout of the hotel and depart for Stirling with a photo op stop at The Kelpies, the largest equine statues in the world. Then it is on to Stirling Castle is one of Scotland’s most historically important sites and was once a favored residence of the Stewart kings and queens who held grand celebrations at the castle. After our Stirling Castle tour we will move on to lunch on your own in the quaint town of Pitlochry. In the afternoon we will have a stop at the Newtonmore Folk Museum (museum store only) and then it is on to the Highlands and Inverness. Check in to our hotel for 2 nights, The Royal Highland Hotel. The Former “Station Hotel” steeped in tradition and operating from 1856, enjoy the famed Highland Hospitality in the Capital of the Highlands. Evening group dinner at hotel. (If Highland Reign has a gig then group dinner will be Friday night).
Friday March 23, 2018: Full Scottish breakfast at hotel then depart hotel and coach to Urquhart Castle: Wild natural beauty and 1,000 years of history – Urquhart Castle offers a taste of the Highlands at their most dramatic. The visitor’s center museum explains the significance of this iconic landmark (located on Loch Ness) in Scotland’s history. From the castle, we catch the Jacobitte Cruise boat to Clansmen Harbor, then we will coach back to Inverness where it will be free time for lunch on your own. After lunch it is on to Culloden Battlefield and Visitor’s Center the powerfully moving site where the 1745 Jacobite Rising came to its tragic end. Saturday March 24, 2018: Full Scottish breakfast at the hotel. Depart hotel destination Isle of Skye and a photo stop at Eilean Donan Castle-Eilean Donan is recognized as one of the most iconic images of Scotland all over the world. Situated on an island at the point where three great sea lochs meet, and surrounded by some majestic scenery, it is little wonder that the castle is now one of the most visited and important attractions in the Scottish Highlands. Lunch on your own. After lunch we will visit Clan Donald Visitor’s Center and Talisker Distillery. The day concludes with check into King’s Arms Hotel in Kyleakin Isle of Skye.

Trotternish Peninsula Tour with stops at Kilt Rock, Flora MacDonald Monument, and Old Man of Storr

Monday March 26, 2017: Full Scottish breakfast at the hotel then checkout of hotel and depart for
photo stop at Command Monument with view of Ben Nevis, Scotland’s highest peak. We will also visit Hogwarts Express photo op at Glenfinnan Viaduct along with the Glenfinnan Monument, at the head of Loch Shiel, erected in 1815, as tribute to the Jacobite clansmen who fought and died in the cause of Prince Charles Edward Stuart. Free time for lunch in Fort William Enjoy the beautiful and scenic drive through Glencoa and afternoon photo stops on Loch Lomond on our way to Glasgow. Check in at Jury’s Inn in Glasgow City Centre. Dinner on your own
Tuesday March 27, 2018: Full Scottish breakfast at the hotel Glasgow City Tour including St. Mungo’s Cathedral, Kelvingrove Park, Transport Museum and more. You will have free time for lunch on own in Glasgow. The afternoon is yours to explore Glasgow. Group dinner in Glasgow
and Highland Reign gig tba.
Wednesday March 28, 2018: Transrer to Edinburgh airport. Breakfast will be tba since we are leaving before normal breakfast hours.
